"Our family of 4 (2 teenagers) stayed for a couple of days between Christmas and New Year. The first thing that stood out was how welcoming and Christmassy the house felt. The house was decorated throughout with fun and cozy Christmas decor and it really helped to extend our Christmas spirit! Our hosts also thoughtfully left some Christmas sweet treats for us to enjoy (which we did - thank you). Beyond that, the house was incredibly well-appointed, with everything you could hope for in the kitchen and games galore for our family to enjoy. The welcome book contained a helpful guide to the house and surrounding area. It was a short 5 minute walk to the lake and the local shops were about a 15 minute drive away. Our hosts were very communicative and check-in was super easy. The only negative was that the couches smelled really strongly of fabric scented spray - probably because this is a dog-friendly rental which is understandable. We would love to return and spend more time exploring in warmer months and we would highly recommend this house to anyone looking to explore Lake Cushman."

The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully set up, but what really stood out was the unique personal touch — they even had a record player with a Jim Croce album ready to play. That alone made the experience feel special and memorable. It’s clear they care about creating a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere, not just a place to sleep. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for something a little extra and full of character."

"Tim and Sandy were very communicative. They gave us a call to give us directions, which really helped when Google took us the wrong way. The cabin is the perfect size. It's cozy, but not too small. We spent our time grilling outside, soaking in the hot tub, relaxing in the sauna, and exploring the lake. It was a great relaxing weekend."

"Very clean tiny home. I was unfamiliar with the Murphy bed setup with the couch but all turned out well. Very quiet wooded area in a lovely area of Olympia with easy access to many amenities. Kitchen was well stocked (coffee :) ). My two nights there with my two dogs was very comfortable. Hostess responded immediately to any questions/concerns. Last question wanted me to rate the pool but I saw no pool and the temps would not have enticed me to get into one unless it was heated. It was a pleasant stay. "
