It snows very often since the hotel is so high in altitude and the road is a long steep incline with sharp turns. If it’s winter time it’s a good idea to have chains for the tires. "An amazing and cozy place to stay in a typical Austrian house /chalet in Alpbach. Rooms are modern and clean with good space and a balcony. Special mention to staff, they are incredibly friendly and helpful with anything. The breakfast is awesome! Location is in village so great to walk around and go for dinner. The Wiederberger horn to right there. Highly recommended!"
