"There is much to recommend this hotel. The common areas are lovely; the location beautiful; and the spa very relaxing (though nude, despite being co-ed). The concierge was attentive and helpful. We borrowed e-bikes and enjoyed exploring the surrounding Tegernsee lake area (though they had no helmets - we had to rent these nearby). "Best staff in the world. Best breakfast in the world. Amazing views in a 360 degree circumference. I’ve traveled a lot and for a premium hotel experience there is no place I’d rather go than the Kempinski In Berchtesgaden. Be nice to the staff and you will be rewarded. I’ve been here a few times and will be going back for a longer stay next time. Only hotel in the world that my wife and I don’t want to leave. "

"The only negative thing I have to say about this property is that I didn't stay longer. This was easily the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Breakfast was incredible, the restaurants were amazing, the hotel was gorgeous, the spa was other-worldly, and the staff did everything in their power to make sure I had everything I could have needed. I can't wait to come back and stay longer. "
