There is a full kitchen in the apartment, as well as a comfortably proportioned bathroom. We offer extra items you may need in a lending room that is located in the shared onsite laundry room. You may borrow and return items before your departure. Items include beach towels and blankets, cooler, bikes, carseat, high chair, etc.

We enjoyed our stay, property was just what we needed...a place to sleep, shower and minimal cooking for a few days. Bed is against the wall on one side and squeaked when you rolled over, but that was the only downside to our stay. Overall we would give it an excellent rating.

Sitka Base Camp

Super convenient location to go up or down island. We used car rental option and had three great extra days in Sitka. Nothing fancy but excellent welcome, communication and local insights.

Everything we needed for our Sitka stay. Just a short walk to two food trucks, a pizza place located inside a brewery, and a gas station convenience store. Easy walk to town through the Sitka National Historic Park; the trail wanders through lush temperate rainforest. If you are scent-sensitive, please note that a plugin air freshener is used in the apartment.

Basic but comfortable

If you just need a clean comfortable room for a night and prefer somewhere quiet near the forest rather than in the centre of town this would be a good choice. It’s just a bed, kitchen and bathroom but there are laundry facilities on site.
