"We absolutely loved S&A Vondelpark, our room was on the 3rd floor and the building is so full of character while still having every amenity needed. The common areas and fireplace downstairs are very nice, the staff are friendly and the location is outstanding - vondelpark, cafes, restaurants, shopping are all so.convenient. Will definitely go back. "

"The location is fabulous. The hotel is a little tired and our room was very small - but we weren't there to stay in our room! The breakfast was great. I highly recommend and would stay at the Rho Hotel again."

"Our stay at the hotel was perfect. Check in was very easy and we arrived early and they had a room ready for us. Elaina (not sure of the spelling) was very helpful and gave us an up graded room. We were very happy with the room on the 7th floor. It was very roomy and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable but we only had one pillow each and they were very soft. (Personal taste) The second night we asked for a second pillow and it was sent up to the room. This worked very nicely. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was very close to the train station (Sloterdijk) which was only one stop to Amsterdam Central. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend the hotel."

"The hotel seems to have been a more upscale hotel in the past so some fixtures show this but it is noticeable that it is not the same currently. My room did not have a window, i did not know this before arriving. But I was not going to be there for long. The staff was helpful, we had a small fridge and a safe in the room, the bathroom was ample and there is transportation nearby. The best part is the location; it is very close to everything in Amsterdam."

"Breakfast was predictable no change of menu. Hopefully they change once in a awhile since we stayed for 6 days. Staff at the counter need more improvements in their customer service given its an IHG member hotel. Cleanliness needs improvements on hallways.and lastly no refrigerators on room, its a hassle to bring frozen or food that needs to be refrigerated down to the reception. It should be a standard as of any other holiday inn express or Hotels. "
