「This was our second to the last stop on our 10 day trip in Portugal and it was one of the best. The staff was exemplary. The location was remote and peaceful. Our suite was the most luxurious of the trip with its beautiful views across the creek canyon to the forest Hills and onto the coast at Sesimbra. They provide one complementary glass of wine and with that we ordered an afternoon snack, expressing our interest in salad. We got a large fresh, delicious, healthy salad to split between us. So...

The property is like none other, surrounded by thousands of acres of farmland. 「We went a little off-season and not many were there. The place is located in the countryside with lovely surroundings. The inital plan was to go into the little town of Cercal for dinner in elthe evening, but we changed our plans and stayed for dinner at Matinha instead. That was a good decision... the food was very nice and typical rustic traditional Portuguese food. Loved it. Everyone was super helpful and serviceminded. It was a great stay.」

「Lovely place to unwind and relax. Loved waking up to the sheep sounds, spending afternoons by the pool and enjoying the sunset in my balcony. Staff were lovely, accommodating and very welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing get-away.」

「We loved this little hotel. It’s hidden away but once inside it is neat and tidy with a nice pool out the back. The owners were lovely and breakfast was included with delicious homemade cake and fresh juice. It’s a good stop over on the way to or from Lisbon. 」

「Monica and her staff are wonderful, the property is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Breakfast is delicious and generous. For us, after 3.5 weeks of busy travel this was a perfect location to chill. We hung out during the day at the beaches, returned to shower and go back to town for dinner. It’s only 12 min to town/beach. Great place to stay, highly recommend!」

「Le mie aspettative per questo posto erano leggermente più alte ma si vede che è un posto che deve ancora strutturarsi. E' comunque molto piacevole e accogliente, solo la comodità dei letti e la pulizia lasciano un po a desiderare. Essendo una location aperta anche agli animali domestici ( e noi non ne abbiamo), non era molto piacevole trovare i peli di cani in giro per l'appartamento. Per il resto la pulizia era molto accurata」

「We only used this hotel to stay overnight while traveling from The Algarve to Lisbon. But it was more than adequate for that. The rooms were a little dated but very clean and well maintained. The building is located within easy walking distance of the town, restaurants, and the beach. Porto Covo is a nice small town, and parking was easy. The staff was very nice and spoke English, which we appreciated. Facility was quiet but be advised their is no front desk help from midnight to 8:00. Overall,...
