"Liked the historic hotel. Convenient location and very comfortable bed. Hotel is showing some signs of wear but everything was very clean. Disappointed that breakfast was just a $7 gift voucher to the coffee shop. Would have been great to have a hot cooked meal in the on site restaurant. Would stay again."

"It’s pretty much quiet for the most part, that’s why I extended my stay. Microwave didn’t work in my room so maintenance brought another and that one didn’t work either."

"Cabin was clean and the pictures on VRBO were accurate.The foosball table was in poor shape -- but a new one in a box was already in house waiting to be setup.The views were very nice! Saw several deer and other wild animals driving up to the house. "

"If you want a place to unplug, unwind, and generally disappear for a bit - this is your place. Cabin was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed to have a great family getaway. Without internet or cell service, we played games, read books, and explored the outdoors. Alan, the host, left very detailed instructions, information about the area and maps of how to get to different places. Would definitely recommend this place and will go back again."

"What a unique and wonderful place to stay! We loved waking up and having coffee on the front porch watching the horses! Honestly, the view every time we walked out the door or looked out the window was just beautiful! Such a rustic cabin with all the modern conveniences, the retrofitted stove was my husband’s favorite!"
