The Druid's Cabin - A Wolf Crossing Cabin next to Yellowstone

2/10 Terrible

"The directions to the property were awful and confusing. It took longer than it should ha e to find the correct cabin. "Rustic" is correct; the ground can be seen through the floorboards, light comes in the front door. We only had electricity, water, heat, and wi-fi (the only communication option) the first night. Due to an electrical line damaged, the power went out... along with the water and everything else. There was no generator backup. We found different accommodations as the fix was more than 72 hours."

"This was an excellent place to book! The property is beautiful, serene, and secluded! It is a perfect place to see lots of wildlife. Jack was an amazing host! He is extremely thorough and has put a lot of thought into recommendations for Yellowstone, a hike behind the cabin, and places to check out locally. Jack was extremely easy to reach and communicate with and we very much enjoyed meeting him as soon as we arrived! The cabin is gorgeous and very clean! It had everything we needed and more. We had the pleasure of seeing a black bear and a beautiful humming bird while we stayed! This cabin is located just over a mile and a half from the NE entrance of Yellowstone and you pass the Stop The Car Trading Post on the was (this is a must stop for ice cream). We saw foxes(with kits), moose, and bears driving to and from the park every day! We would definitely book this place in the future."

"This felt like a home away from home. It was so cozy and the bed was so comfortable! I haven't slept that well in a long time. We even had a fireplace for those chilly nights! The location was wonderful, for quick access to the park and Lamar Valley. Silver Gate is such a cute little town. Last but not least...the host! Marcia is so welcoming and has spent 34 summers in Silver Gate/Yellowstone. She has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the park, great fishing spots and the history of the area. She has so many great stories to share. She made our stay even more special! We can't wait to go back!"

Scenic Montana Cabin Rental ~ 1 Mi to Yellowstone!

"The house was exactly as listed, Great! It was equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great location to visit Lamar Valley to view the wildlife, but no need to travel further than the back porch to see moose and mountain goats! Greta was prompt to answer any questions I had. I must shout out to Richard for having a fire going when we arrived, a much appreciated welcome!Wonderful place, wonderful people! You won't be disappointed"
