"Silver Gate Lodging is located only 2-3 miles from the NE entrance to Yellowstone. The room has been remodeled and was comfortable. The property manager greeted us promptly at the counter in the General Store. She gave us a quick rundown of other businesses nearby for food, coffee, etc. She offered free internet while sitting on the General Store front porch. The other guests were very friendly with a community type atmosphere around the fire pit. The Log Cabin Cafe across the road is delicious...

"The cabin was perfect for our family and super close to the Yellowstone entrance. We felt very safe and the cabin was very clean. "

"This is an older motel but very clean. It is the perfect place to unplug. Even if you dont want to. This wasn't a big deal for me but it might be for others. The only place the wifi works is at the office/camp store, no cell service and no tv's. It was very relaxing to sit around the camp fire each night. The rooms are clean but small. The shower was also very small."

"If you are hesitant about being remote, this isn't your spot. It's only 1.5 miles from YNP, Silver Gate is a must-see, the cabin is beautiful, the scenery is breathtaking, the creek that runs right next door was very calming, and the wildlife that visited us; nailed it! "Our stay at this vacation house in Montana was absolutely unforgettable. Located just a short drive from Yellowstone, the house was in the perfect spot — close enough to a charming town with a cozy cafe serving delicious breakfasts and quaint little shops, yet wonderfully secluded, situated right on a peaceful stream that made us feel completely immersed in nature. The house itself was spacious, immaculately clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It had that perfect mix of rustic charm and modern amenities. We loved waking up to the soothing sounds of the stream and starting our mornings with coffee on the deck, surrounded by stunning mountain views. The location couldn’t have been better. After exploring Yellowstone during the day, it was so nice to return to this serene retreat. We enjoyed stargazing in the clear Montana sky, and the wildlife spotting right from the property made our experience even more magical. Wonderful property

"This property sits right in the small town of Silvergate just outside the entrance to the park. It was a perfect rental if you want to enjoy beautiful surroundings in Montana and Yellowstone park. Marcia, the owner/host could not be friendlier and more knowledgeable about the area. She was fantastic and everyone in the area knows her. The home was comfortable and welcoming. I would definitely look to rent this property the next time we visit this area!!!"

The location is perfect to begin the beautiful Beartooth Highway to Red Lodge and enter Yellowstone National Park. So interesting to realize that this cabin was a gas station so many years ago!"
