"We stayed here on our way to Cooperstown. The hotel looks older with dark wood and emerald green carpet in the rooms. The staff was wonderful at the front desk at check in. It is located right off a street with restaurants and shopping. The hotel needs better lighting in the hallways. It was very quiet at night. They offer breakfast in the morning but, we did not stay to check it out."

"It was a tad smaller than expected, it was quite cozy. The bed was a little hard for me to get in and out of because one side was against the slanted wall, my husband on the other side. It was very peaceful, especially on the back deck. Just know that the pond is on the neighbor's property and they will let you know not to come near it. Met the neighbors, were friendly enough but made sure to let me know about the boundaries. Also, no cell service, you have to get connected to Wifi to make calls. But overalled we loved being there and in the middle of the mountains."

"Our stay at Uncle Lou's Cabin was outstanding. Perched on a hillside overlooking a beautiful stretch of the West Branch of the Delaware, the views alone are worth the trip. Each morning began with coffee on the deck, watching trout rise in the river below while planning the day and dreaming about the fish of a lifetime.The house is exceptionally well-appointed, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Whether cooking, relaxing after a day on the water, or organizing gear for the next outing, every detail has been thoughtfully considered. The owners are attentive, responsive, and available if any questions arise.For fly anglers, the location is hard to beat. The river offers a great mix of riffles, runs, and pools that fish well across a range of conditions and water levels. Whether you're a seasoned fly fisher or simply looking to experience one of the Northeast's most iconic trout rivers, you'll find plenty of opportunities right outside your door.If you're looking for a comfortable, scenic, and ideally situated base for a Delaware River fishing trip, Uncle Lou's Cabin delivers. "The cabin was nice and had everything we needed. Could have been a little cleaner and the lawn was very high and that means lots of ticks and that's not ok for us or our fur baby. It didn't get mowed until the day before we were leaving. Also has an ant problem. Small things, but need to be addressed. The host was friendly and helpful. We probably would stay again if these issues were taken care of."
