This bright and spacious suite with private entrance and patio with a view of a pond and fountain. Excellent accessibility with no curbs or steps to the entrance, or inside and a designated wide parking spot. The primary BR boasts a queen bed and two large closets & desk area, the secondary BR has a double bed and a large closet, the LR offers dining table and a long sofa where an additional guest could sleep. 58" TV and internet access. Bathroom with tub/shower. Full kitchen with laundry.

"Super location at the end of a dead end street and you can enter the beautiful and manicured Dominion Brook Park at the top of our driveway. This park is dog friendly with numerous water features, trials, outdoor tables, public washrooms, and wide open spaces offering views of the mountains and ocean. We are also just a short 5 minute walk to public transit and the Panorama Recreation Centre offering lap and warm water pools, dry and steam saunas, jacuzzi, weight room, skating, squash and tennis with outdoor basketball and large play structures. The spectacular John Dear Park is also a short 5 minute drive which offers fabulous trails amongst gigantic trees with locations for breath-taking mountain and ocean views.

"Convenient location as it is just a 5 minutes drive from the Victoria Int'l Airport and Anacortes ferry, 10 minute drive to Swartz Bay Ferry, Butchart and Butterfly Gardens, and the Saanich Peninsula Hospital, and 20 just a minute drive to beautiful downtown Victoria with its' many attractions.

Wife thought the inside of the microwave had mold.The unit has no sound proofing from the hosts room on the same floor and no sound proofing from the upstairs. Every step , every host conversation can be heard. The above negatives really takes away from the very positive unit set up. If it was not for lack of sound proofing we would have considered booking again for next year.

A lovely 2 bedroom at the ground level of a house surrounded by a beautiful garden. Next to a park. Updated and clean; the kitchen stocked up with all you may need. Loved the big screen TV and access to a patio area. Jeff, the host, was friendly and checked if we needed anything. A comfy queen sized bed, and a full size in the smaller bedroom. A pullout in the living room can sleep two. Overall, we were very satisfied, a thumbs up!

Last minute booking

We needed a comfortable stay with kitchen and separate bedrooms, hotels were booked so we have looked at private accommodation and what a pleasant surprise!We couldn’t have asked for better place to stay. Clean, spacious, fully equipped. Hosts very accommodating and responsive. If we return to Victoria - this place will definitely be on our radar! Close to the airport too.

Wedding Celebration

Cozy and Light-filled two bedroom walk- out basement apartment in N, Saanich, Vancouver Island

We absolutely loved our stay at the home of Jeff and Anna. Jeff met us with open arms as we drove onto his beautifully manicured property. After welcoming us, he directed us to the newly outfitted walk-out basement apartment which was light filled and cozy. Two bedrooms plus couch in the living room that can be converted into a bed. The kitchen was clean and fully equipped; washer and drier included. What a nice kitchen it had! The beds were very comfortable and the sheets so soft. The bathroom was in excellent condition. Excellent walking paths right next door. Located on a quiet street between Schwartz Bay ( north) and Victoria to the south. We enjoyed. B the nearby Roost Cafe which served a healthy breakfast and lunch. We can totally recommend Jeff and Anna’s place as a great place to stay when you’re on Vancouver Island. Phoebe Smith

Fantastic Home-away-from-home

This beautifully laid out, comfortable apartment is the most well-equipped I have ever experienced. We started and ended our days enjoying the beautiful view of the grounds and the pond—it was so lovely, we never found time to watch movies on the large yet unobtrusive TV. Cooking homemade meals in the fully-equipped kitchen was easy and fun. Great location, great owners AAA+++

Comfortable Stay

We were in town for a wedding in the area. The property is lovely and well cared for. The suite was spacious and quiet. It was very clean and well stocked. The owners were very responsive to inquiries and as they live on the main floor, they were available to greet us when we arrived and wave goodbye to us when we left. We didn't spend a lot of time in the suite, but it was an enjoyable stay.

A Lovely Visit!

Efficient and comfortable

The space was perfect for our needs. It’s very clean and comfortable. It worked well for my son who uses a wheelchair but it would not work for a wheelchair user who does not have a companion to reach some of the kitchen items stored on high shelves. Our host was very helpful and easy to reach. Thank you! We enjoyed it!

Girls trip!

A friend and I stayed here on our girls trip to Victoria. Jeff and Anna were wonderful hosts. Their unit is clean and has everything you need for a great stay. We will come back to stay next time. Would recommend to everyone.
