We stayed at a "sister" hotel in Osaka and found this one to be either newer or better maintained than the one in Osaka. I found this property very attractive in its natural, zen style architecture and furnishings. The Japanese "onsen" (hot springs bath) was in a natural setting surrounded by trees and rocks and offered a view of the stars while soaking in the hot springs. OK. I have done it. A straight 'full-marks' across the board. From the moment we checked in, this place has been a delight. Rooms are impeccable. Staff work hard to get you where you need to be. The documents supplied on what is offered in the area were tremendous. If you are here to relax in the summer or ski in the winter, this is a gem of a place to stay. There are only 10 rooms or so, so you are not fighting a crowd. Breakfast is more than enough to get you through the start of the day and...
