The room included a small fridge and microwave and two queen beds. It was close to amenities in the town of Shellbrook and was a reasonable price. The room was clean and it was heated adequately for the cold outdoor climate we had during our stay.

Mission accomplished. Out there to test a fairly new snowmobile. Did not want to stay in Prince Albert with the fear of getting it stolen. This motel was excellent as I could back right up to room door

The motel was ok, it’s definitely older and showed in the finishing inside the unit, broken moulding, broken tub surround. The province had been having heavy rain for at least a few weeks and we noticed the carpet was damp throughout the unit, we wanted to turn Om the heat to hopefully dry the unit a bit, but the owner had the heat turned off throughout. We also asked for additional paper cups, coffee and tea and were told we could buy them, after a few minutes of bickering they relented and brought more the next day which was appreciated since we could not find any coffee packs in town or in Prince Albert. The hotel definitely caters to field workers which is fine, but can be a little noisy in the early mornings.

We enjoyed our stay at Shellbrook Motel. The room was clean and the front staff very helpful. While the motel is dated and the beds are still the old style spring type, the stay was enjoyable. I would stay here again.

I arrived at the motel within the check in times. The office was locked. There was a sign with two phone numbers. I called the first number.... no answer. I called the second number and got someone on the phone. I told I was trying to check in and she told me to give her a minute. I assumed she was coming to the office. She called me back and started asking me for my information. I told her this had already been done. She asked me for my credit card number and I told I had already provided it. I told her I did not want to provide my info over the phone. It was too late to cancel and there was literally no other hotel/motel in the community. I ended up staying out of desperation. The noise was horrible! It sounded like someone was banging on the walls at midnight. I woke up at 6 am to what sounded like furniture being dragged along the walls and ceiling. There was no second floor on the building. When I went to check out, the office was locked. I ended up just leaving and will be watching my credit card for suspicious activity. DO NOT stay at this place. Do yourself a favor and keep driving.
