"Place was beautiful, much better then I expected, we had a great view of Nippising off from balcony and golf course off back balcony. Bed and pillows were comfortable, room was very clean, jacuzzi was great. The to go breakfast was so so but it won't deter us from going again. Overall great place"

"We had a great time at this cottage and enjoyed our stay. The property itself is beautiful, and the cottage was well stocked with everything we needed. We were disappointed by the dock, as it was not put together as advertised in the photos. It was disconnected in several places and sitting on an angle, which made it difficult to use. The cottage was clear of clutter, but the cleanliness upon arrival could have been better. We found socks under the bed from previous guests, there was a very noticeable amount of dirt, dust, and hair / pet hair throughout the cottage, and the couch had some staining. I ended up sweeping and mopping when we arrived, and I didn’t feel comfortable until it had been cleaned. Overall, the property is very nice. With some extra attention to cleaning and maintenance, it would be an even better experience. We had a wonderful stay and made great memories at the cottage."

"We really enjoyed the cabin. There was plenty of space to spread out and hang out together. The kids really enjoyed playing the arcade games. The area is beautiful as well, quiet and peaceful. The ducks and turkeys were fun to watch. The hosts were excellent. At one point a tree fell from a storm and they moved it very quickly. We had a great time"

"This property was just lovely. It was clean, beautifully decorated, and nicely situated in the town of Callandar. The beds were super comfortable, and, in between our numerous activities, we made good use of the TV to watch the FIFA games. Our host, Joan, was friendly and attentive. The town itself was wonderful. It is small yet has great amenities, including a heritage museum, right next-door and a Legion just down the street with all sorts of special events going on. The waterfront is an easy walk down the street. Overall, we had an enjoyable and relaxing stay, and would definitely recommend this home and this town."
