Quiet neighborhood with a short walk to grocery store, shops, and lake. Museum next door is neat. Place was roomy and clean. I do wish there was more to cook with (no large pots, only one knife, no potholders). If you're someone who prefers to cook instead of eat out, just survey the kitchen before meal planning! Really that was our only beef. Everything else was great.

We had an amazing stay at this property. The home is extremely clean, comfortable, modern, beautifully decorated and located in a central location to all stores and businesses in Callendar. Joan is a friendly and wonderful host who responds quickly to messages. We highly recommend this VRBO home for a relaxing and peaceful vacation.

This was our second time renting this property. Everything was great and we noticed some recent improvements completed on the landscaping which made a great place even better. We like this location for its proximity to North Bay and how close it is to everything in Callendar. Our host was very accommodating and was quick to respond to our texts.

This house was perfect for our stay on the long weekend. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us, and the location was ideal. We were very happy that there was a grocery store near by, and the waterfront was lovely. I would absolutely stay here again.

We were there on a lovely sunny Sept weekend in 2025. Perfect walk down to a boatlaunch and gazebo. Great little museum and info spot right next door. Quick 5 min drive to wonderful trail system. Deck and bbq were very useful.

Great place for our long weekend stay. The location is close to the lake and conveniently located to amenities like restaurants and stores. The back deck was a nice place to sit and enjoy a beverage while getting some late summer sun. The backyard is private and a peaceful oasis. Beds were comfortable and having two full bathroooms is a great convenience in the morning.

three of us stayed one night after attending dinner and theatre in north bay. host was friendly and helpful. beds were comfy. the place was as advertised or better. very clean. we did not make meals but the kitchen space was very nice. super lovely decor, nice morning walk down to the shore, cute town. It made me want to come back again.
