「Our party of 3 arrived the evening of Apr 3rd for a 3 night stay. The owner showed us to our cabin, and it was in terrible condition. The stairs were loose, the handrailing was rickety, the door didn't fit properly. Once inside, we could see it was poorly built, the bathroom was dirty, and it appeared not to have hot water, although we never had a chance to find out for sure. We went for something to eat, and then came back to the cabin for a shower and a nights sleep. My 2 friends were...

「While the host was communicative and helpful, and the value for the stay was excellent, the location of the listing was 6 miles away. This added lots of driving each day for our excursiones and visiting La Fortuna. While the property was clean, the house smelled of mold and mildew. Running the AC helped, but even with air freshener it was still unpleasant. Lastly, the outdoors smelled like sewage. Unfortunately, it made it difficult to enjoy the patio and even the jacuzzi area. 」

「The house, property and landscaping was amazing. The outdoor bed by the hot tub is covered and wonderful for napping. The view is amazing. I would definitely stay there again. The neighbors are really nice and washed our clothes. The gate made us feel safe and was easy to locate. 」

「We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed the cabin and the location. Make sure you bring bug spray when sitting on the balcony/terrace.The little pond makes it really nice and quite some wildlife directly on the property.」

「This was by far the nicest place I've ever stayed, and if I ever have the chance to come back to La Fortuna I would rebook here in a second. The houses are spacious, clean and comfortable. Each feels very separate from the others and the whole property is covered in well maintained plants. With the dense foliage and the nature walk, it feels like you are nestled in the jungle and its such an amazing and unique experience.
