「The property outside was in very poor condition but the rooms were lovely. All renovated and spotless. Breakfast was very nice with lots of fresh home made options. Wish they would clean up the outside! 」

「We very much enjoyed our stay here. The owners were kind and personable. The breakfast was very nice, the apartment was large and comfortable - we didn't realize that they offer apartments and air bnb rooms bec we would have opted for the latter rather than the apartment but it was very nice and had a futon if we needed to accommodate additional people. Kitchen with full size fridge, balcony, and nice bathroom. Would definitely recommend. 」

「Smack bang in the middle of the old town, situated just in the pedestrianised area. Given the location, there is no parking, but we had no problems finding free parking within a 3 minute walk. (I'd recommend a car so that you can visit outlying towns / villages/ mountains.) The hotel does a good continental breakfast between 7 and 10. L'Aquila has plenty of options for bars, restaurants etc.」

「Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by John Carlo - it was dark and getting there was a little tricky but in the end worth every ounce of energy it took to navigate the winding mountain roads. 「Nette en vriendelijke ontvangst waarna de poort werd geopend om de auto te parkeren. Met de sleutel kaart in de hand naar de kamer gegaan. Nette, ruime en schone kamer incl. badkamer met (regen) douche. Hotel ligt tegen een bedrijventerrein aan, daardoor meer verkeer, maar dat had ik al gezien tijdens het boeken. Binnen hoor je daar niets van. Op loopafstand 2 grote winkelcentra en diverse leuke restaurants.」
