This beautiful holiday apartment is located in a well-kept house in the idyllic Kirnitzschtal near Lichtenhain, in the middle of the picturesque Saxon Switzerland. For small purchases, you can go to the village shop, which is about 600 meters away. The town has a restaurant at the entrance to the town coming from Bad Schandau - "Panoramagaststätte mit Bowlingbahn" and a cafe "Zum Lindenbaum". The comfortably furnished holiday apartment creates ideal conditions for a relaxing stay. While you enjoy the peace and the wonderful view, children can let off steam on the play area with slide, swing, trampoline and outdoor table tennis table. There are 5 loungers by the pond for relaxing and soaking up the sun when the weather is nice. The pond is also suitable for bathing/swimming. A highlight in the area is the famous "Lichtenhain Waterfall", which you can reach in just 20 minutes on foot. From there, the charming Kirnitzschtal with its numerous hiking opportunities in the fascinating rocky landscape opens up. In the nearby towns of Sebnitz (5 km) and Bad Schandau (7 km) you will find further shopping opportunities, restaurants and attractions. Nature lovers can reach the panoramic hiking trail after just 100 metres, which offers breathtaking views of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. Alternatively, you can explore the wild, romantic valley along the Kirnitzsch on the mill tour. Cyclists benefit from varied routes for every level, while the Elbe can be experienced on exciting canoe and boat tours. Numerous excursion destinations in the area also invite you to explore, including the famous Bastei, the impressive Königstein Fortress, the historic Hohnstein Castle, the magnificent Großsedlitz Baroque Garden and the National Park Center in Bad Schandau. A ride on the nostalgic Kirnitzschtalbahn is also a special experience.
