「This place is amazing. I had parking right in front. Easy self-check in. It was like a studio apartment *without the kitchen. Couch, coffee table, tv, coffee bar, comfy bed. The bathroom was clean but a bit small. Tight with the door and sink and toilet. Had a crouch in the shower to rinse (I'm just 5'10"). Minor details! Would 💯 book this place again. In a heartbeat! Groceries, restaurants, Marsh Museum, drive-thru coffee just 5-10 minutes up the road.」

「Love the tub. The employees are the best. They had great smelling soaps and lotion. Bath salts waiting for me!! I love this place.」

「The Host is excellent. The vibe is excellent. The only drawback honestly was the shower set up. The shower head would spray out the door when opening the sliding door and turning it on to the warm setting. Other than that? I’d say five stars. There was a 1 1/2” mold area forming at the corner of the ceiling above the window at the front of the room. Check at the corner of ceiling to wall above said window. Easy remedy. 」

「We had a grest stay. It wss very accommodating for my family and dog. We were there for the jerp go topless event and it was in a great licatuon for everything」

「The Mermaid Inn is one of our favorite motels. The rooms are decorated with a Mermaid/nautical style with some retro appliances. Overall gives a very homey feeling. Rooms are very clean, staff is really friendly and helpful. Situated between a gas station/store and a Mexican restaurant you have access to fresh food and all the amenities you might have forgotten to pack. Like much of the Long Beach peninsula, the Mermaid is quiet and laid back...but still in walking distance to "downtown" and...

「Horrible! Our room had 4 lamps in it.. only 1 had a light bulb . When I went down to ask for more I was told they were locked in the maintenance room and I'd have to wait till the next day. I asked for an extra pillow both days we were there.. was told someone would bring it to me .. never happened. Staff at check in .. so NOT helpful! Location is great .. room kinda dismal.. staff not impressed! Will never stay there again !」
