Retreat to this spacious and stylish getaway just minutes from downtown Edmonds and Lynnwood Center! Private entrance and gated backyard give you privacy and room to stretch, with scenic Ballinger park a couple minutes drive away. Spacious kitchenette includes a full fridge, toaster oven, and 2 burner counter cooktop.

This is a downstairs apartment. Upstairs, we have two little ones who may be heard during the day (quiet hours at 7pm)-- we are happy to quiet them and/or provide earplugs if needed!

A great place to stay!

This property was clean and wonderfully set up. Had all the amenities needed for a short stay in the Seattle area. Easy access to freeway and very quiet neighborhood. Owner was exceptional at communication responses!

My second time at this property was just as good as the first time! Definitely will consider this location if I have more business training in the area again. I felt that I got very good value for my money, and was able to sleep without the traditional hotel noise being a problem.

I was extremely pleased that the quality of the lodging was *exactly* as displayed and described in the listing. The accommodations are impeccably clean to the level that one would expect of a five star hotel. The only thing I would note is that access to lodging is via outside steps that go from ground level to the lower level/daylight basement area. My heavy roller bag was a bit awkward on the walkway which is a combination of gravel and individual concrete, slabs. I was happy that the walkway, doorway entry, and backyard areas are well lit at night. I parked my car on the roadway directly in front of the property and felt comfortable that it would be safe. And, as other guests have noted, David, the Host, is particularly available and very responsive to questions. I would absolutely come back here again, and in fact, have scheduled a second visit.

Lovely garden suite

We were visiting in the Seattle area for a few days before Christmas. The location was convenient - close to the I-5 and 405, and Alderwood Mall, but far enough off the main arteries to be quiet.The unit is tastefully decorated, and had lots of little extras to make it welcoming and comfortable. We were able to make our own meals when we wanted or reheat our leftover restaurant food. We heard the pitter patter of little feet upstairs once in a while but never at a bothersome level - and not after 7:00 pm. We’d gladly stay there again and recommend it to others.

Second visit!

Second time renting this place and will most likely rent again I have work travel in the area! Great amenities and very good privacy even if it's a basement. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Mountlake Terrace area.

Work trip

A colleague and I stayed at this place for a week in September. The suite is located in a quiet neighborhood of Mountlake Terrace, close to many restaurants. The area is located in the basement, but there are large windows, and there is direct access to the ground level in the backyard. The included amenities were perfect for our short trip. PS: you might enjoy the visit of a curious local rabbit in the background!

Lovely clean and quiet apartment

Clean basement unit in a quiet neighborhood. We arrived at night, the entrance was well lit and check in process clear and easy. Plenty of space for a couple. The apartment was clean and tidy, spacious and well stocked kitchen. David communicates promptly. We loved the calm view of the trees from the apartment. Will visit again.

Best hosts and apartment I’ve ever stayed at. Communication was seamless. Spotless. Quiet. AC worked perfectly. It was a bit warm in the bedroom. Fans helped. I’ll stay here again if the price doesn’t go up too much. Thank you for a peaceful and lovely visit.

I was at the property for 2 weeks. It was exactly as described and shown on the pictures, it was clean, well kept and completely private. Awesome location close to highways and easy to travel between King and Snohomish Counties. Quiet and parking was very easy, right in front of the house. Host was super responsive. Highly recommended!

Lovely Home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was easy access, very private and peaceful neighborhood with a feeling of being more in the country rather than a big city. We even had a cute little bunny running around in the back yard!! We would definitely stay here again!!!
