「Beautiful hall by the lake with helpful and friendly staff enjoyed every minute of my stay would definitely go back someday just for the scenery alone」

「Staff and facilities were great. Roads 」

「Did exactly what it needed to do. Free parking for the van within walking distance. Lovely food and great staff.」

「I have nothing to compare it with as this is my first experience of youth hostels in 40 years. I was impressed. I loved the open area, bar and restaurant. The dormitory was excellent. Beds were well spaced, ample plug sockets, mattress & pillows excellent. Clean sheets and super mattress. The bed was as good as any 5 star hotel. Honestly. The shower was clean but a little small. The facilities in the kitchen were good but some of the pans had loose handles. The staff clearly clean but somehow...

「Great location in the lake district. Almost the top of the hill. Reasonable and clean. If you have a car strongly recommendable.」
