Great property, great host

Bourbon/Train Ride Getawar

We have a great visit to the area and enjoyed our stay here. We enjoyed that is was centrally located to all the things we wanted to do. Hope to bring other friends or family to the area. Would definitely stay here again.

Bourbon Get-Away!

Beautiful old farmhouse secluded in the countryside but close enough to distilleries and town. Cozy and comfortable, well stocked with anything you need. Enjoyed our visit and plan to return.

Bourbon Trail dog friendly retreat...

Just a cute house off the beaten path to unwind and/or relax after a day on the Bourbon Trail. Our dogs loved exploring on their daily walks around the property as well. Hope everyone enjoys their stay as much as we did.

Charming Farmhouse

My family (me, my husband & 4 year old daughter) stayed at Sea Glass Farms over Thanksgiving break. It was the perfect, cozy, comfortable place for us to stay while we were visiting family for Thanksgiving. Its beautifully renovated with farmhouse charm. It's well stocked, clean & the property owners have great communication. We would love to stay here again given the opportunity.

My bourbon getaway

This was our first time to Kentucky. As a bourbon drinker, this has always been on my bucket list. We enjoyed our stay at the cabin and the drive to the distilleries was amazing. It has everything you need to be warm and comfortable. Everything was so neat and tidy, and we will definitely return. Thank you!!!

Peaceful and Easy

We had a wonderful week-long stay here enjoying everything the surrounding distilleries and towns have to offer. Everything was within reasonable driving distance, and our time at the house was peaceful and beautiful! We took advantage of the beautiful views from atop the hill, which our chocolate lab loved climbing with us. Our drives through the hills to the house became one of our favorite parts of our trip! The house itself provided what we needed to enjoy evenings there after long days exploring. We highly recommend this vacation home!

Quiet comfortable cottage in rural Kentucky

The cottage is situated in a wooded area on a quiet road which hardly sees any traffic. The check-in is easy because of the code to the door which is provided early. The living room is huge with comfortable sofa and chairs. The cellular range is poor in that area, but the wifi is excellent! There is a full kitchen with stove, oven and large microwave. Outside there even is a coal grill! Both bedrooms are large and homey. We felt right at home in this cottage!The location is excellent: 1 hr drive to both Bardstown and Lexington.

Exactly What We Needed!

Our stay was exactly what my wife and I needed. We were celebrating our second anniversary a little late and needed a quiet and peaceful place to escape our hectic lives. We live about an hour away but staying here was a complete switch from our fast paced suburban lifestyle. It took us both back to our youth on family farms. The property was exactly as advertised and so relaxing. The host Andy was great at answering questions almost immediately. We definitely recommend it for anyone and will definitely be returning.

Peace and privacy

This location is perfect. Close enough to attractions while allowing you to get away from it all. House is cozy and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again if we come back this way.

Perfect Quiet Spot on the Bourbon Trail!

Spent 5 nights and 4 days at this amazing quiet spot! Located off the beaten path but not too far from everything we needed and wanted to do. We visited many distilleries in all directions... and look forward to staying here again to see even more!

Wonderful Bourbon Trip

We stayed at this wonderful house for 4 days while doing bourbon tours. House is exactly as described. Easy to find with GPS, easy check in. Home was clean, kitchen had everything we needed, beds comfortable. We enjoyed sitting outside in the evening, very quiet!

Awesome secluded place

Few days of vacation with a friend, great for visiting distilleries, Wonderful find, no cell service (for UsCellular) but wifi work great so best of both worlds! Had a few questions throughout the time, very quick and great response from Andy (the Host)... Will definitely be looking to stay here again whenever we return!

Quiet Country

Nice clean property. Great amenities. Quiet, wildlife, and nice neighbor Ron. Easy to get to our destinations for the bourbon tour. Would recommend for an alternative verses hotel stay. When we come back we will definitely book this place again!

Very nicely appointed!

We loved this VRBO. It was out in the country on 22 acres of beautiful land. It very nicely appointed, and we loved sitting out on the front porch at night. It was so incredibly quiet. Although the many miles of winding roads were a bit of a challenge at times, the drive was beautiful. Because it was so incredibly dark at night, we got the extraordinary opportunity to see the Northern Lights on the extremely rare occasion that they are visible that far south. What treat!

Fun stay in Bourbon country

The cute house was nicely restored. New appliances with old country feel. The road to the house was interesting and very scenic. We were glad we found the house during the daylight hours! The area immediately around the house was well-groomed, but the area across the road---well... The house was well-stocked with paper products, towels and soap. The kitchen had ample cookware, but we suggest to future guests to bring their own frying pans if they want to cook anything. Our group of four enjoyed having space to play cards and sit in the comfy living room. The wild turkey coming by was an added treat! I would recommend this property for a nice country feel in the midst of bourbon country!

A Bourbon Trail Must

This is the second we have stayed here and once again very happy with our choice. Amenities are as stated and more than enough when you are spending the day/week on the ā€œBourbon Trailā€. Furniture is comfortable and the house is an inviting feel for the entire group. A/C is great and very appreciated. Plenty of property for the dogs to do their thing, the patio is great for some evening relaxing and itā€™s close proximity to most of the desired distilleries. I would recommend and will stay again for our next trail trip.

Perfect bourbon trail getaway

First Bourbon Trail Experience

Definitely enjoyed our stay at the property! The listing matched the house. My only complaint was that I didnā€™t take note of the entry code to get into the house and when we got there we did not have service :( had to drive back up the road until we had service to load to code to get in. Not a big deal, was totally my fault but make sure you screenshot the door code before getting out to the property! Thanks so much for a great stay!
