"Our arrival started off bad from the beginning. I was greeted by front desk staff I showed her my Expedia reservation clearly in my name only. Immediately she said your name is not on reservation I can’t check you in . I showed her again everything correspondence I had from Expedia showing my name as the guest. Her unfriendly response was I can’t help it if you booked the reservation with a third party and they sent us a different name on reservation. I can’t do anything for you because your name isn’t on reservation. My partners name was on the reservation instead under a completely different surname then mine. My name my credit card my paperwork. Partner had nothing to do with securing the reservation. Yet she would only talk to him and allow room to checked in with his identification and credit card . Yet at checkout an email folio was sent directly to me in my name only charging my credit card for resort fees and incidentals not his credit card. I spoke with front desk manager after checking out and she was also short with me and said my credit card was charged because my partner added me as a guest and the system defaulted then to me as the person to be billed. That seems far fetched from my perspective. First of all if I never existed how did they have my name on a credit card on file. I never gave it to them at the hotel only during the booking process with Expedia. These two incidents ruined my stay and I will never return there or refer anyone "

"I was disappointed about the amount of activity around the hotel. It felt like more of a night club than a nice hotel. The room was great but make sure you use a sound machine for sleeping because it can be loud. Ask to be on the quiet side of the hotel. Our in-room coffee/water was never refreshed without me having to call the front desk and ask. It seems like they should have a lounge on an upper floor for guests to get coffee, etc because it's not being replenished when the room gets cleaned. The rooftop pool was fine but servers in tiny pink bikinis just wasn't the vibe for me. Also, the house music starts at 10am up there so be prepared. The Kouboi restaurant is amazing and we would be happy to dine there again but overall the hotel just wasn't for us. Also, a self-parking option would be nice so that we could get our car on our own."

"The hotel was awesome, pool and staff great. Restaurant was a bit weird.. ZUZU we walked out twice after being seated and waiting for service at around the 10 minute mark. Everything else and staff were great. Rooms awesome. "

"The hotel staff were wonderfully nice. I stay at Motel 6 because I travel with a service dog. While he can go anywhere, I prefer Motel 6 due to their dog friendly policy. The room was clean enough but it was a cracker box. SMALL! The price for Scottsdale Fashion Square was extremely high (probably due to location) and should have been way less. Looked like they were full of people traveling through so they won't likely lower their prices. If you aren't going for the dog- you will have prettier accommodations elsewhere for the price. Again, the staff were excellent and morning coffee was good with pleasant greetings from office staff. Dog potty areas were nicely maintained with dog bags and trash cans. "

"The room was clean but could use updating. Our bathroom door didn’t open and close properly. The a/c vent by the bathroom dripped water and made the floor wet and it smelled pretty musty. The refrigerator also didn’t work well at all and barely kept our water cold. Wish the room was a little over for the price paid. "
