"Great stay in Edinburgh! The host was super friendly, the room had everything we needed, and the connection to the city was good. Would definitely stay here again."
"A Magical Stay Fit for Royalty!
We had the absolute pleasure of staying at this stunning castle, and it truly exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, we were swept away by the charm, elegance, and attention to detail in every corner of the property. It felt like a step back in time- with all the modern comforts perfectly blended in.
The breakfast was nothing short of extraordinary with local treats like cheeses and meat, butteries and fresh yogurt. Every morning felt...
"We loved our one night stay here. I was worried because I didn’t realize there was no lift on the property, but the staff was very helpful in getting us to our room. "
"Very nice hotel nestled in the university environment. Great breakfasts at the Scott. Great location near Arthur’s seat and outside of the busy tourist areas. Would definitely return to this hotel."
"We decided to stay overnight at The Juniperlea Inn on our way to Edinburgh. This place is only a 30-minute drive from the city center. The room was excellent, the food delicious, and the staff lovely.
We will definitely consider staying there again when visiting Edinburgh. "
"Bus stop in front of the house. Car park spacious. Nice, large and clean rooms with en-suite bathrooms. The breakfast was nit really worth the money
But overall a good place to stay in Edinburgh "

"Had a lovely stay at King's Manor. It's situated midway between Edinburgh city centre and Musselburgh, with good bus links in both directions right outside the hotel.
My room was clean, comfortable and quiet. And the food was delicious especially the Haggis, Neeps and Tatties."
"Amazing opportunity to stay in a real castle with such a rich history. The staff, especially Jon, were outstanding. Everyone was so accommodating. It seems like they have been making constant improvements to the property. The spa closes early (6p) and several amenities in the spa were out of order. Be aware that the archery and falconry, although on the property, are run by a separate company, closes at 5p, and requires a reservation. The remote location is beautiful and quiet, but be aware that getting a rideshare car is nearly impossible. The taxi company they use is very reasonable, but getting back to Dalhousie from Rosslyn Chapel was nearly $50 (I think due to the remote location). Great event for small parties/weddings. The dungeon dinner was fantastic, but be aware there is only one option (chef’s 7-course) that was $125 per person with no separate option for kids (more expansive, cheaper options at the other on-site restaurant, the Orangery). The complimentary breakfast was also delicious, made to order + continental. If we ever come back to Scotland, I’d come again despite checking staying in a castle off my bucket list. "
"The hotel room was very clean and comfy and what i considered to be a massive bargain considering the price of hotels in edinburgh for the same night. The service was fantastic but breakfast was phenomenal to service and to food itself. I will be retur ing for my next trip to edinburgh. £120 for the night with breakfast for 2 people with two lattes and two teas. Phenomenal!!!"
