"This hotel was very clean and looked very new. The room was really big by Japanese standards and the layout was great! Breakfast was a good value as well. Check in/out was easy. I'd recommend this hotel instead of some other ones that are closer to the train station because those looked rather dated by comparison. This property was a 20 min walk from the station or a 7 min taxi ride. There's plenty of restaurants around the hotel. It will likely be my go to when I'm in Tsuchiura again."

"Perfect stop when heading to the airport! The room was large and had two separate bathrooms, which was nice to have for a family of 5. Disappointed that the pool didn’t open until 2 PM and required an additional fee for use, even for guests. The shops in the hotel were cute and had nice souvenir options and having the free shuttle to the airport was very handy."

"We had a one night stay before we had to head to narita airport. From the moment we arrived to the time we checked out, we were provided excellent service. The staff were attentive and there was great attention to detail. The property is absolutely beautiful, relaxing and reflects the Japanese culture. The Japanese breakfast was intricate and delicious. It was a great way to end an amazing vacation. We would highly recommend making this with your entry or exit to Japan. Since it wasn’t high tourist season, we had Naritasan park at dusk to ourselves.
