"Had a lovely stay. The staff promptly greeted us upon arrival and provided us with a complimentary drink which was very thoughtful. We stayed in a building separate from the main hotel and had an incredible view with a quaint balcony. Staff assisted us by bringing out luggage to the room which was very kind after a long day of traveling. Complimentary breakfast was provided and the meal was incredible. Hotel Mürren Palace

"Stayed three nights on vacation with the wife. Overall nice hotel, very opulent, nice buffet breakfast. Area was safe and close to the train station, but about a 12 minute walk across town from the lift station, so bear that in mind if using the lift and not the train. One not so good thing was the room, it had a weird configuration. There was a support beam running diagonally across the room, and the bed was mainly in the middle of the room, not against a wall. This made the room 'choppy' with no good paths to move around, and increased the risk of running into something accidently. If considering to stay here, ask to be sure not to get a room like ours. Wish I had taken a pic so readers could understand how problematic this layout really was."

"We had a wonderful stay at this property as a family of 5 visiting Murren for three nights. It is actually more spacious and updated than it looks in the photos. The bathrooms are completely modern and work very well, as does the kitchen. My children deemed it the best place we stayed on our trip through Europe. It is an easy walk from the cable car station and conveniently close to the supermarket and everything else in this small town. Check in and out was easy. Beds were comfortable. Overall, we loved this property and would highly recommend it to families staying in Murren. We enjoyed the gorgeous views, did the via ferrata, took the bus to the waterfalls, went up the Schilthorn, did the Thrill Walk in Birg and the allmendhubel in Murren. Wonderful stay!"
