The rooms are cozy with character. The sound from the stream is so relaxing. Really, really quiet area. The breakfast was good and convenient. I would for sure come back !!

Cozy place but hot

The hotell is very cozy and situated next to a river. It has thus a fantastic view. Even though it’s two stations away from interlaken ost, it was very accessible by train. The hotel even gave us tickets to travel freely within the interlaken area during our stay. However, it is a very simple accommodation without AC/fan which made it extremely hot inside the room (in July). The breakfast is simple but sufficient and we had like seven spiders as roommates.

Quiet area, easy access to the trains and exploring the sights. Very quaint Inn. Room was way to hot and leaving an outside door open all night invited bugs and uncomfortable. Even a fan in the room might get have helped. Poor lighting in the bathroom. Good breakfast l, homemade bread was amazing

It’s not romantic at all not advisable to stay

One old couple running that Business I think that’s too much for them. There’s no guest Services limited time for the reception if you have any emergencies no access nothing it’s a very remote place.

Great location for peak trains

This is a very nice hotel. It may look outside of town, but its better to be here at Wilderswil station, that way you can get a jump on the peak trains. You need to take those early since clouds come in late in the morning and the early trains are cheaper. Owner and Manager and both very nice.

Unique thing is that the hotel is manage by a simple, humble, and accomodating family. Bus and train station is just 3mins walk from the hotel, which is connects to all other tourist attraction sites. Bridge/river view is coooL! Breakfast presentation is awesome like a five-star hotel. At first, the nearby cemetery is somewhat freaky but it does looK attractive/unique too. I'll definitely choose this hotel again if I'll had another chance to visit switzerland 👌.

This is a very nice hotel, breakfast was very good. Only problem was upon paying extra fees they had no change for a 20 franc note. Seems if you need to pay a fee, they should have change!

Basic clean accommodations with continental type of breakfast. Limited English but very willing to help you with any questions. Historic property with older fixtures and furnishings. If you are looking for a 5 star experience, don’t stay here but if you are looking for affordable lodging close to train, bus and driving options, this is perfect.

We were never greeted on check in or during our 2 day stay. Staff were very unwelcoming. The bathroom shower drain was extremely slow causing water buildup, the light level was very poor, the door wouldn’t close properly, and the shower head was broken. The 2 chairs in the room were very musty and VERY uncomfortable. However, the breakfast was good. Bottom line — we would neither recommend this hotel or ever stay here again.

Very cute area with a beautiful view with surrounding mountains. Easy to get around but transportation tends to close early and taxis are costly. Enjoyed our stay but they serve the same exact breakfast every day. After the 3rd day, it starts to get old. Worth the price.

Scooby Doo hotel. Staff are not friendly. The gentleman could not speak English. He only spoke Ukrainian. Great bubbling brook outside. Reason I wouldn’t stay again is staff is flat out mean.

L'hébergement n'a rien d'exceptionnel. Ça sent le vieux. Le petit déjeuner était très bon et très copieux. Le couple était très serviable et gentil pendant ce moment de petit déjeuner. Par contre, on se sent opprimé et menacé avec tous les avertissements affichés dans l'hôtel. Les menaces si on salit les serviettes, si on détériore telle ou telle chose. Les pénalités si on fait un check out trop tard avec une pénalité de 5 CHF par minute dépassée. C'est dommage, je pense qu'il est inutile d'être aussi menaçant, ça ne crée pas une atmosphère de bienvenue.

I’m pretty sure this is a family ran hotel. First, you open the door and get a musty smell in the air. Next, you go up the stairs into your room and there’s no AC, there isn’t even a screen window and there are lots of mosquitoes. At night you’ll be sweating because of the humid heat. Also, the boss has a really bad attitude. This was the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed at in our 20 days in Europe. It's very frustrating.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, hot water for showers. Only 10 minute bus/train into Interlaken, bus stop is very close walking distance to property. Hotel is right by the river and you can listen to the river at night- lovely! Breakfast was great. I would highly recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to Interlaken.
