Wonderful Stay in the Heart of SavannahOur family of four (two adults, a 12-year-old, and a 4-year-old) had a wonderful stay at this charming parlor. The location was ideal — situated in the historic district, just steps from Forsyth Park and close to excellent restaurants. It felt safe and walkable, about a 25-minute stroll to downtown and the riverfront. The flat was well-appointed and had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable visit. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Savannah.

A gem in Savannah!

Can’t beat the location for the parks and great walks. Apartment was perfect. Loved that once inside was on the 1st floor. Everything was wonderful. Wish I had more time to just hang around! I will be back

amazing location - perfect for 2 couples

The location is perfect. We have traveled to Savannah several times - the location is ideal. Short walk to river, city market and Forsyth Park. The kitchen is small but we were able to cook dinner one night - make sure you bring all you need to cook. There is NOT any oil or even salt and pepper. Bring your own coffee grounds - only enough for 1 pot was there for us. Communication with the property management company went well. I wish I had not had to reach out - The property is listed as Non-Smoking.....be careful if you are allergic to smoke (like me) - the tenants smoked below us on their deck - so we were not able to use our outside deck area during our entire visit. The router is housed in the unit above us - and we were unable to use our TV on 2 of our 5 nights because the router was unplugged. Both beds were not comfortable - but tolerable. The king mattress is a futon type mattress - the queen mattress is loud and make a squeaking noise when you make any movement. I LOVED and sought out a tub - it is perfect for a long soak.

A great location for a walking experience of Savannah

You couldn't ask to be in the middle of it. Park the car and let the walking and exploring begin. This phenomenal centralized location access to the great parks and all the restaurants and activities of Savannah has to offer. This location has very comfortable furniture and all the appliances you need to feel at home.

Very nice - Almost a 5

The apartment lived up to our expectations. It is located on Savannah's prettiest square and it's a quick hop over to Forsyth Park. It is well appointed with everything you need to make yourself at home. We were happy to discover closets in both bedrooms (which is not what the description of the property or the property manager reported.) The 2 negatives I find worth pointing out are that first, neither of the beds are very comfortable. My comfort rating (being generous) is 3. New thicker foam mattresses would go a long way! Secondly (less important, maybe trivial) guests are required to take out the garbage at the end of their stay - around the back of the building to an alley. I would expect cleaning staff to do this, not paying guests. I found it a somewhat rude "goodbye". That being said - yes- I would recommend this property provided you're not a finicky a sleeper.

Great Apartment - Great Location

This was an exceptional stay for us. It's nicer than in the pictures. We travel to Savannah each summer and love it every time. This was our favorite trip to date because of the fabulous location. We would definitely stay again.

Excellent location

This rental is only one block from Forsyth Park and within walking distance of several excellent restaurants. The only negative I have is that it really needs an external spring cleaning. The outside of the windows that look over the square are really filthy. Also, the porch needs to be hosed off. The cushions on the chairs were so dirty I sat on a towel. They even looked like they had some mold on the cushions.

Leaving aside the quality of the property, it's beautiful location and absolutely everything you need in it, Savannah is one if the most beautiful cuties I've ever seen after travelling the world my whole life. Convenient to all this beautiful! Loved the restaurant (Colin’s quarter) for breakfast which was a nice walk past the “famous fountain” surrounded by breath taking trees and landscapes. Highly recommend!

Getaway weekend

My friend and I chose this listing for a four day visit to Savannah. We loved the location - in the historic section, across from the most beautiful square in the city Monterey Square. It was just one block from Forsythe Park which meant it was a quieter section of the city. But certainly an easy walk down to the River and nightlife of the City Market. Only hiccup was the information on getting visitor day parking pass. We were told we could get it at the Savannah Visitors Center. Turns out you have to go to the city services center on East Bryant and they are not open on Sunday. So a bit of a process to get the pass on Monday morning. But other than that, the apartment was perfect for a several night stay. Kitchen had lots of small appliances and there were plenty of linens and towels provided. We would definitely consider staying here again
