We enjoyed the property. The house has a lot of space. There were three of us so we each had our own bedroom. Comments:
- The location is good, you are on the east edge of the historic district across from a park. It's a little far to walk to the river but we used Lyft all weekend to get around. The walk to Forsyth Park is more like 10 minutes.
- The house is a duplex or split house with what I'm sure is the exact same layout flipped on the other side. It seems like there are full time neighbors. Being a historic house you will hear them come and go and move around.
- The listing mentions the stairs, a fair warning that they are skinny and steep so if you're unsteady on stairs this may not be for you.
- The house amenities are excellent. Plenty of towels, pillows, and the kitchen has everything you can think of and it's all well labeled.
- The patio out back is a nice space.
- Being a historic house you will hear road noise as the windows are thin. There wasn't much foot traffic so we didn't hear people talking outside. I used the provided sleep machine.
- The size gives you plenty of space to relax and spend time with your group. We spent a lot of time in the living room and ate breakfast at the dining room table. There is a half bath downstairs off the dining room that is very convenient.
-Keyless entry was nice and the owners communicated well. Listing is fairly represented on VRBO, recommended for larger groups who want the Savannah experience.
