  • Designed by John S. Norris for General Hugh Weedon Mercer, construction of the house began in 1860. Really comfortable and inviting. Just minutes away from anything you might want to do in Savannah. This home was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. The owners even left us a sweet treat and some snacks. Thank you for letting us use your home for a couple of days! We will definitely look you up the next time we’re down that way.

Great home close to everything.

Great house within walking distance to Kroger, restaurants, and a short drive to the visitors center for cheap parking to see the sites. Driveway in back is big enough for two small vehicles or as in our situation a small SUV and a small motorcycle trailer. There is on street parking as well. We didn’t sleep in the big bedroom off the front entry, but the back bedroom was comfortable for 2 adults staying for 3 nights. Would stay again if coming back to Savannah.

Exceptional Stay in the Heart of Savannah

We had the privilege of being the first guests at this wonderful apartment, and everything exceeded our expectations. The host was exceptional, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The apartment itself was fully equipped and even had extra touches that made our visit special. The location was fantastic—walking distance to downtown and close to many great restaurants. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a thoughtful snack box, which was a lovely gesture. I accidentally left my Apple Watch behind, and the host was incredibly responsive. Within minutes of reaching out, they assured me it would be sent back. True to their word, they promptly provided a tracking number. I highly recommend this apartment for anyone planning a stay in Savannah. The combination of a great location, excellent amenities, and a thoughtful host makes it a perfect choice!
