Misleading and would not recommend
Our group was seven women aged 30 for a tame bachelorette party. We all love the pool and knew it would be hot, so we made sure to book a property with a pool on site.Upon check-in the pool was not covered, was dirty, and looked as if it hadn't been treated in a while. After communication with the owner on VRBO they confirmed that the pool was not usable and offered me pool passes to a nearby pool at a nearby hotel to which we declined because we didn't want to have to leave the house to go to the pool. They then also offered me a credit.However, that wasn't the only issue. Chiefly the place was not clean. Dirty linens on the beds full of someone else's hair, someone else's hair on mantels and stuck on remotes, dirt under tables, on stairs, behind doors, in the bed, the shower floors were visibly discolored, dirty dishes put away in the cupboards. The back yard was covered in tall weeds and ant hills and it was suggested to leave our bags of trash by the back gate- bags of baked trash just a few feet from where we'd be "enjoying" the back yard. Not enough towels for the amount of people staying, most of the doors didn't latch and the front door would only close completely when deadbolted- so there were plenty of bugs inside. Absolutely would not recommend and have an open claim with VRBO to get my money back. Words cannot express our disappointment.
