As you drive up to this Sausalito cottage, it welcomes you in with its gable gate and beautiful flowers. Upon entering, the first thing you want to do is walk across the living room to the sliding door, which leads out onto the spacious deck with gorgeous views of the harbor and boats. My husband and I spent a great deal of time on that deck with either coffee in the morning or wine, cheese, and crackers in the late afternoon. The views are beautiful, especially as the light changes throughout the day. It is so relaxing.
The house itself is just spacious enough to provide you with absolutely everything that you need. The large master suite downstairs has amazing views of the water, is cool and comfortable, and is connected to a large bathroom with a spa tub and a spectacular hot shower to warm up in on those brisk mornings.
The beds are all extremely comfortable, and the supply of linens, pillows and towels is extensive.
The cottage also has its own washer/dryer, which is, of course, very important for long stays.
The location makes travel into downtown Sausalito very easy, as well as a quick jaunt to Molly Stone’s to pick up whatever groceries that were needed.
There are many excellent restaurants within a 15 minute drive.
We loved our stay and hated to leave once our 30 days was up.
