This is a really nice hotel, just on the edge of downtown - not in exurbia. It’s almost like a little hacienda, with lovely common areas - a big plaza with a fire pit among other amenities. The breakfast is very good; weekends they have a buffet, weekdays ala carte. It’s not cheap but a very good deal if included in the room rate. We would definitely stay again; in fact we are returning tomorrow (it’s on the bookends of a drive up the California coast).

Everybody was great kind professional, and helpful. I haven’t stayed at the Hyatt in a while, but they even allowed us a late checkout at 6 PM Prior. We stayed at the Hyatt a lot, but I haven’t done any business with them for five years and they were still amazing. I would stay there again. In fact I probably come back and do a Whighan tour and since we stayed there till 6 PM we spent a lot of time at the bar so they definitely made extra money that they probably wouldn’t have made if they didn’t allow us a late checkout.
