Great hotel. Food was good, and the hotel is right next to the tram down to the lake. It was truly one of the most amazing views from my hotel room balcony. Sunrise was memorable. Highly recommend this hotel!

Absolutely amazing stay. Didnt try out the spa but this was an amazing hotel. I believe it was a little slow so the staff upgraded me to a room that faced the lake. Breathtaking views. Anything in the mini fridge is free of charge and breakfast is included. All things that really matter when traveling in an expensive country. Would highly, highly recommend.

Nice hotel and the location the staffs was nice .. but I wish the hotel would provide a hot water kettle where the guests could make coffee or tea .

The room was remodeled, and the hotel management took great care in selecting the furniture! I have a rather nice bed at home, but this new bed in the ski lodge was the best bed I have ever slept on! Just glorious night of sleep… and the resultant manger was spot on… his staff was flawless and kind, the food was flavorful and delightful.

Great stay at Hotel Engel! I had a wonderful experience at Hotel Engel. The staff were incredibly helpful with all of my questions, the room was cleaned thoroughly every single day, and the surrounding view outside the hotel was absolutely incredible. I also loved the breakfast, which had plenty of variety every morning. Plus, the convenience is unbeatable since the bus station is just across the hotel. Highly recommended!

We stayed here for two nights in February 2017, since it was close to the sledding on Rigi. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough snow to sled, so we had to do other things. That was easy as there were Mardi Gras celebrations in both Weggis and Lucerne, which included a local brass band playing great music one evening. The hotel was just what we wanted. amenities wonderful--staff professional and helpful--location wonderful (on lake) Only issue is a church bell that gongs 24/7 every 15 minutes--the staff provided me with earplugs, and I was fine when using them. Restaurant delicious, outdoors on the lake.

Lovely property in a quaint part of town. 2 blocks from the lake and an abundance of restaurants. Staff were the nicest most helpful I've ever encountered. Very large room and very comfortable. Highly recommend

Great room, cozy and with some personality (not a cookie-cutter hotel room- wood panels, comfortable chairs, etc.) Incredibly beautiful view of the lake and mountains with a small balcony.
