"The evening Registration person could not understand English. Even with Google Translate we had a difficult time. He didn’t offer to help us with the language barrier, but just stood there with a blank look. No explanation of services, breakfast hours or that we had to pre order for breakfast. The morning staff was better and tried their best to help us with breakfast. "

Sasebo is a quiet sea-side town with a marina side shopping/dining area and the downtown is full of very nice restaurants with wonderful local food. There is also a blocks-long covered shopping mall to enjoy. Much quieter than larger destinations.
"This hotel is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Huis Ten Bosch, as it's conveniently located right next to the park entrance. The service is exceptional and highly professional. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious with a wide variety of options. There is a Family Mart inside the hotel.
During our stay over the long weekend, the hot spring was quite crowded, but aside from that, I would definitely return."
