「This is truly amazing place located in the little mountain village Trikala. The rooms are spacious, each with separate terrace or patio, well furnished. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This place have many advantages over the sea shore hotels and guesthouses. There is no crowd, no dust, no air pollution and no heat. You can easily sit on the balcony in midday feeling chilling wind and siping cold white wine. You can walk to the beautiful village passing rosemary, lavender and sage...

「This property has a great view right on the beach. It is close to the town of Kiato where there are sweet little restaurants. Kiato is close to many ancient sites for sightseeing. Not a vibrant party town but great for a relaxing getaway, which is what we wanted.」

There are very few shops and restaurants nearby and we didn’t have a car, but the local host, Mr Dimitris, did all he could to make our stay comfortable and rewarding. 「Nice hotel by the beach/ water in Xylokastro, with many restaurants and bars along the beach promenade. Very friendly staff. Everything was fine except that doors/ locks are noisy when you close/ open the doors, and the isolation between rooms are bad (like most hotels). Since it was low season with few guest, the noise mentioned above was no problem for us at night. Evening was very quiet.」

「Nice appartment by the sea in an old house. The balcony is just on the beach so that you can relax listening to the sea clapotis any time (for example at breakfast :))... While the sea is not always accessible just in front of the appartment, you can just go 100 m away. Very convenient !!!」
