"The check-in left me at the gate for 1.5 hours when the key code was not working. It took a while to reach someone on the contact numbers. On day 2 the key code for the main house was not working. It took even longer to get someone on the phone but they were unable to get assistance for 3 hours. I was between the door and my car for 3.45 hours. The temperature was a cold 41 degrees This ruined what would have been a good stay."

"Ideal place if you’re looking to be in the peace and quiet except for the dogs that do bark through the night at times because of the wild boars. There is only one small grocery store, but it can supply you with the essentials. Good location if you have a car. "

"The villa is excellent. A cool retro Hollywood 80's style, open plan, pleasant décor, big windows looking over valley. Very quiet location. Amazing early morning and evening views and wonderful, changing lighting. Valley is green due to the vineyards and their pleasant microclimate (compared to some other more arid areas of Portugal or Spain). Local facilities were good. It takes 20 minutes to drive to "anywhere" due to the winding mountain roads (all part of the adventure and the roads are excellent)."
