「During my first few days in the Azores, I stayed in 4-star hotels before switching to this guest house—and honestly, this place was way better. It was super clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even packed me a breakfast to-go since I had an early flight before the kitchen opened. Such a nice touch! If I ever come back, I’m definitely staying here the whole time.」

「Rebeca did a fantastic job of providing all the details we needed to do self check in and find our room. The room was spacious, clean, quiet, and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was great with wide selection of food available including warm pastries! Can’t wait to return!」

「The common areas are beautiful, the rooms are functional, bathrooms updated. The property is adjacent to a main road; it’s noisy, not peaceful. Breakfast lacked good choices for protein, but was rich in pastries. If you don’t like ham, your protein is hb egg which you have to peel or expired, spoiled yogurt. I ended up buying my own Greek yogurt and bringing my own cold water. They could use a water filtration dispenser/ice machine.」

「Really nice staff there. The room was also very clean and the bed super comfy.
Only negative is the fact that we hear the street a lot. Like if the windows were oppenend. Not a lot of traffic in the night so it was still acceptable.
We also did not receive the details of the instructions over email like we were supposed too, so we had to call the owner to get into our room the first time.」

「Street parking, kitchen to use and a patio table but otherwise not much common space to use. The room was dark, mattress firm and using the shower soaks the floor. Breakfast is decent.」

「I cannot write enough good things about Casa da Ilha. Jessica and the staff treated us like family. The breakfast was terrific and personalized. Having access to a fridge, filtered water, and all day coffee was an added bonus. Parking was easy and convenient.」
