「Our favorite so far! Everything was clean and well appropriated. The staff, in particular the bar staff, were friendly and helpful. Pool area was very clean with big fluffy towels. Hotel nicely located within walking distance to everything in town. I am very particular about cleanliness and I give this place 4 stars for that. Also bed was very comfortable!」

「Sao Miguel is small enough that you can choose one accommodation centrally located and drive the whole island. Verde Mar and Spa offers ocean views overlooking a beautiful surf beach. Included breakfast is great and in house dining is convenient after a day of touring the island. Ribeira Grande is quaint without the urban cluster of P. Delgado. The 20 minute drive to the north side of the island is certainly worth it.」

「Beautiful views overlooking the area, and a fantastic breakfast buffet! Location was a nice for walks into town for meals, etc., and is close to Terra Nostra. Parking at the hotel was a challenge - the lot was small, but the reception deck employee helped us figure out a solution!」

「Absolutely beautiful place! So clean, relaxing, love the view of the ocean and sunset. You can see the popular rock formation from your room or the pool area. The pool was super clean and so nice to swim in! Love the pool area a lot! Lots of room to hang around comfortably outside on Lounge chairs or inside rooms near the pool with large glass doors! Super friendly staff as well, this was one of my favorite places I ever stayed! 100% recommended!」

「Overall a very nice hotel. The restaurant and breakfast were well above average. Staff was extremely pleasant, helpful and accommodating. A big issue for us was the bathroom. The shower walls were made of wood which were molding all around the bottom due to moisture, this was not something I would expect from a hotel of this caliber. There was very little storage space in the bathroom for toiletries, and the toiletries provided were insufficient and were never replenished. The pool area was...
