"Overall - lovely place and would definitely return! Clean, spacious room, fantastic daily cleaning/service from team!! Balcony and view was lovely! Although a long walk from main reception - it was worth it for the peace and quiet! Great access across all hotel facilities. The only honest downsides were: The outdoor pool bar is unnecessarily expensive - especially for kids meals. Plus a small sprite is €5 for example! The self laundry is also quite pricey. And we found getting taxis via Uber was very challenging, and using metered yellow taxi’s off the rank is not wise - they will try and trick you to pay more by taking you a longer route to your destination!"

"Receptionist (long brown hair working mornings) was extremely helpful, and went out of her way to assist us, and always remembered us. We needed extra support and required additional days as I broke my leg during our visit to Madeira. She helped us with booking additional nights, breakfast, directions to medical support, and luggage storage. The staff in the restaurant were also helpful in aiding me with seating with a huge cast (needed extra space around it so I didn't get bumped by other patrons). The breakfast buffet was excellent, lovely fresh fruit, abundant fresh bread & cooked breakfast. We loved the views from our room, the facilities, and the room. The cleaning staff were diligent and rooms were very tidy, and cleaned daily. Only possible improvement would have been addition of air conditioning, however, we were comfortable at 27C with the ceiling fan and breezes from balconies. Would definitely recommend!"

"My fiancé and I have been talking about going back with our 3 boys to Madeira and stay in this hotel again! It was a perfect location, very clean, friendly staff, and the breakfast buffet as well as the dinner buffet was amazing! We had a great time and wonderful experience in Madeira. We definitely go back and stay there again! Madeira is a paradise island!"
