O primeiro índio brasileiro a pisar em solo europeu era daqui. Tem o quinto maior porto do Brasil e no verão é muito procurada pelas suas praias. No Centro Histórico, além de apreciar o casario resultado da colonização portuguesa, vale a pena fazer uma visita à Igreja Matriz Nossa Senhora da Graça, ao Mercado Municipal de 1900 e ao Museu Nacional do Mar que é o único museu no Brasil de embarcações brasileiras. In the Historic Center, in addition to appreciating the settlement resulting from the Portuguese colonization, it is worthwhile to visit the Mother Church Nossa Senhora da Graça, the Municipal Market of 1900 and the National Museum of the Sea which is the only museum in Brazil of Brazilian vessels.

O apart tem um espaço bom, porém móveis antigos. Parece airbnb e não apart hotel. Cozinha sem equipamentos básicos, mas quando solicitamos fomos atendidos. A localização é muito boa.
