"What a great host and the setting was absolutely heavenly. We came so my wife and daughters experience Pico as it was the home of my Avo and Ava who where from Lages do Pico and they get to know there heritage. We will return again for a much longer stay and the people of the Pico are warm and friendly will to assist. The food was spectacular and it brought me back to my childhood growing up in a Azorean Portuguese family in California. Thank you and my Gods Blessings be with all in the Pico."

"The house location was good, the village and the natural pool very nice. *****BUT****** the house was not at all the one described. Only 2 rooms instead of 3 announced ! The third room behind the house was closed and, when we found the key, what a surprise ! A very bad surprise ! It seems to be abandoned for several years. All inside was so wet, moldy and dirty. "Isa was so amazing with communication and helping me set up any needs that I had for my trip. There was a welcome basket with bread and cheese and tea and coffee and water which was so much appreciated. A beautiful setting on their banana farm and close to an amazing restaurant and nice hiking. I love that the property has a bathtub for after a long day of hiking. Outdoor patio and barbecue we're a lovely place to end the day as well. I can't recommend this property more for a quiet place on...

"This house exceeded our expectations in every regard. It is superbly situated, overlooking the town and the sea. It has all the faculties that you could need inside and it also has a very pleasant, shaded, outside space. It is only five minutes walk into the town, where there are a number of bars and cafes and a very good little shop. João kindly gave us a tour of the immediate area when we arrived, this turned out to very useful in finding our way around later on."

The owners have made every effort to ensure that you have everything that you need—reading lights on the headboard of the bed, hangers, plenty of dishes for our family.
