Relaxing Incredibly Beautiful Stay

This is a very special place and I would highly recommend it especially to nature lovers. The house is clean, so comfortable, and well laid out. Fun outdoor kitchen and hammock area. And the setting is incredible. Views of the verdant mountains and beautiful sea. My family and I loved the hike to the parking area. Not having a vehicle was a fun experience. We loved hearing the birds at night and seeing the stars. Plus the fresh bread delivered each morning. The hosts are wonderful, responsive, and helpful. This was my favorite stay on our trip to the Azores.

A Visit to Paradise

I would describe Belo Surf at the Kuanza Nature Experience as remote, comfortable, and beautiful. The stone cabins are brand new and have everything you need for a self-catered vacation. We loved the outdoor area with seating, a grill, and a sink! Fresh bread each morning, the pounding surf outside, the breathtaking views of Faja dos Santo Cristo, and the hillside of Sao Jorge made our stay exceptional. Dipping in the pool after the exhilarating walk from Faja dos Cubres into the property was a wonderful treat. Beto and the rest of the staff were welcoming, professional, and available for questions and help. If you want to experience the Fajas of Sao Jorge authentically, with access to several hiking trails and island highlights, this is the place to stay. Highly recommend.

perfect stay

location, location, location plus the thoughtful design, adaptive reuse of structures, and the evident and abundant care of ownership and staff all added up to bliss for our group perhaps not for everyone, but the adventure of getting there and provisioning one’s stay can make for an even more satisfying stay.

Amazing property!

The owners had a dream and vision that they so loving brought into existence ! Susan , one of the owners I booked with was ever so accommodating . We enjoyed our stay so much we stayed an extra night! Not only was Susan a joy to work with but her staff was simply amazing!Bento, the property manager went over and beyond caring for us...to the extend of arranging a special luncheon of grilled sardines that he personally prepared and not to mention the housekeeping staff that baked us a delicious cake!!
