We had a truly excellent vacation in Watercolor. The quality of the rental home was superb in terms of amenities, cleanliness, comfort, and location. The management company was very responsive when a minor maintenance issue came up with the hot tub. Highly recommend this home and vacationing in Watercolor in general. We will definitely return.

It’s hard to find a place that feels so much like home that isn’t actually your home—but Mint Julep is just that. The owners have thought of it ALL. This place and area in general is truly a little slice of heaven and I have no notes other than how amazing this home is! As a mom to 3 young kids, I’ve been searching for a place that we can vacation for years to come, and we have officially found it. Do yourself a favor and book the stay, you won’t regret it!

Our 4th of July stay at Mint Julep was great! The house was in a great location and well-stocked and maintained. The only items needed in the kitchen are some more cookie sheets (only one very small one), some baking pans and a set of potholders for getting items out of the oven. We enjoyed all the spaces - coffee on the front porch swing in the morning, family games on the table in the screened in porch and lots of pool time right outside the back door. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels (which is not always the case in a rental home). The golf cart and bikes made getting around Watercolor a breeze. Everyone in our group agreed this was one of the best houses we ever rented after many, many visits to 30A!

Family Vacation at Watercolor

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Watercolor has been a destination for our family vacations for many years. Our stays at the homes have always been excellent with properties well maintained and in great condition. Mint Julep is in a good location however is in need of maintenance. Many of the exterior doors are difficult to open and show signs of wear. Same for the interior of the house. A good investment in refinishing the interiors and floors would help a lot. It’s clear the property gets a lot of use but could use some TLC.

As nice, or nicer, than photos. This was our first visit to area and found this to be a great location for all things Watercolor and Seaside. Especially with the golf cart.Code access and parking is in back. And the pool alarm on the back door is tricky- but I think that is a Florida thing.
