"Wonderful hotel/hostel close to Tayrona. The private rooms have large floor to ceiling windows, and it was magical to watch the lightning and thunderstorms at night. Our room was very comfortable, and we loved the hammocks and outdoor seating as well. The restaurant served great food, and it was nice to have room service on extra stormy nights. "We had a great stay at MuchoSur Hotel in Santa Marta! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with anything we needed. The hotel is clean and has a nice, relaxed ambiance with lots of beautiful plants that give it a fresh and cozy feel. The location is excellent — it’s very close to the Santa Marta historical center, so it’s easy to walk around and explore the city. Moscu, the hotel’s friendly dog adds a really nice, homey touch to the place. The rooftop pool area is also very nice — perfect for relaxing, enjoying the view, and cooling off after a day in the city. Overall, MuchoSur Hotel is a great option in Santa Marta for travelers looking for a friendly atmosphere, good location, and a pleasant stay surrounded by greenery"
