We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Umi. The property is beautiful, chic, and thoughtfully designed, with rooms that are spotless, spacious, and smell amazing. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect, close to all the action while still feeling calm and relaxing. A wonderful place to stay in Puerto Escondido. We would happily return and highly recommend it.

The staff was beyond helpful and really friendly. Their service was exceptional and even had chocolates for me at the end of the evening! The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The pool is beautiful, the vibe is right and the continental breakfast was just perfect. This was one of my best stays ever!

This property is clean, and the local staff that work there are pleasant, but this property is not at all as advertised. I didn’t get the room I booked, instead I was next to all the mechanical equipment, which was loud. there is no real internet access - when I asked I was told that is the case while the entire area, which is not true. the spa was ‘closed’, there is no real gym/yoga facility, there was also a power outage while I was there. I checked out a few days early, and they were not willing to offer any form of a return. When I contacted Expedia, about the false advertising, they confirmed they didn’t check the accuracy of the listing, so booking is at the risk of the guest. Overall very unpleasant experience. There are plenty of other better options and are far more affordable. I would have been much happier in a hostel.

If you’re debating staying here just book it! We spent one week here and it was incredible. We stayed in the junior king suite. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. It’s close to the Main Street in la Punta but away from all the hustle and bustle. Staff were friendly and so helpful. Eric made us coffee and breakfast every morning-delicious. Didn’t even have to leave the property. I messaged the front desk in the lobby and they responded in seconds. I wouldn’t stay any where else. They helped arrange all of our travel too. I miss it already. 10/10
