Our room was clean & well decorated, but small. No front desk help or tv service. I had to log into my accounts to watch tv. Great location with plenty of walkable dining options! Love the modern style!
The online check in made things quicker and easier. I didn't get my email regarding codes and how to's but emailed the facility and received instructions immediately. Room was very clean and the property quiet. I would absolutely stay here again and have already recommended it to family and friends.
It was very quiet, and a nice, modern room. Big bonus being just a block or so from the plaza and near many restaurants. Neg's. A small room with no view.
Be prepared that the property has no on-site staff. And response to your questions aren't very timely. That said, we had no issues. Amenities are nice. The property is well-kept, very clean and new smelling. And nice eye-catching addition is the small art gallery that is right off the lobby.
Oh, and parking, while complimentary, is a block and a half away. Not far but not on site.
The room was nice, clean and comfortable. It is within walking distance of “Old Town Santa Fe.” While there was a very nice lady in the gallery in the building that helped me, the check in was somewhat confusing. Parking was four blocks away and there was only one on-street loading and unloading spot. When I tried to enter the parking garage, my parking garage card did not work. I traveled back to the hotel, the gallery lady helped me call someone from the hotel. I got another card, drove back, parked and walked back. A reception free Check in is ok, until something goes wrong. All that said, would I stay there again…probably, but I would check around first.
We loved it here! It was quiet, but surrounded by cute shops and delicious restaurants. We loved walking around the neighborhood and coming back to the serenity of our room.
Loved the accommodations, the location and the decor. Perfect for a long weekend getaway. Centrally located to everything we wanted to do. Would definitely stay again.
Beautiful modern touch (as referenced by the name) 😉 on a historic property centrally located near amazing shopping and restaurants. 5⭐️ We will definitely be back!
Sleek concept that rivals swank New York hotel experiences. All check-in/check-out operations are done using keypad entry, and amenities/towels/necessities are available in a well-stocked communal closet. Concierge, when needed, are easily reached via phone and are pleasant and accommodating. Location is second to none, with fantastic coffee just next door and a one-block walk to the plaza. The parking is two blocks away at the convention center lot with the entrance on S Federal Pl., but is no issue if you don’t mind a short, pleasant walk back to the hotel. Beds are comfortable, rooms are spotless, and the shower doubles as a steam room for those visiting from sea level. A lovely gallery operates from the lobby, featuring local artists. The view from my room resembled that of a New York hotel, albeit a beige stucco wall rather than brick, but offered enough natural light to stir me awake so i could take to the streets. I look forward to my next stay.
Inconvenient parking setup/ Not for solo travelers
Traveling solo, I was concerned about the parking situation, but the description mentioned a reserved space for unloading at the front of the property and parking garage access. So I booked it.
Prior to arrival at 6:30pm, I learned that the garage access card would need to b retrieved from my room upon arrival. Since I expected to use the reserved space for unloading, I was good with this arrangement. However, upon my arrival the reserved space was occupied, so I drove around a bit hoping the spot would open up. It didn’t, for a couple hours. I found an open spot a few blocks away (normally u hv to pay, but it was after 5pm). Again, I was traveling solo, so I was the only one that could run in with luggage and grab the garage access card. I sent a note to the hotel host. The response was - sorry. Also note that the parking garage is located across from the post office (map it) and NOT next door in the garage by the hotel. They mention it’s only 2 blocks away, but it’s a solid 10 min brisk walk from car door to hotel room door. Not convenient if u hv ski gear to carry each day. During the remainder of my stay, a car was PARKED (not loading) in the reserved spot almost the entire time. This was during low season! Good luck during high season. With their invisible service, you’re on ur own. That includes any parking issues. There is no effort to keep their reserved space open for guests.
This is a really great hotel. Newly remodeled and very nice. Comfortable. Nice furnishings. Great location 3 minutes from The Plaza. Very quiet. Highly recommend. Would stay here again for sure.
It was pretty as you can see online, but there were some inconveniences. One is for parking. You had to get a card out of your room and then drive about a block away to a parking garage and use the card to get into the garage. And the garage is closed at night.
The other thing is, I was in room 12 and in the early morning hours, every so often there was a tapping or knocking sound in the wall between me and the other room. Thankfully, I knew that the sound was because of the heating ducts so when the night is cold and the heater would go on, it would make that sound.
The owners might find a simple fix for that online, I found something about moving the heating unit outside, that can kind of adjust the duct system.
I chose this hotel because of the newer construction, and I’m very sensitive to mold and artificial fragrances that can be in some hotels. And it did seem to be free from those things. But I couldn’t get a very good sleep because of the tapping sound.
It would also be nice if the windows could open a little bit to get some fresh air in there, along with a screen.
This is a niche hotel that would be good for some people that would enjoy the nice artsy neighborhood, but have plenty of energy. And it’s not very disability accessible because of the downtown parking situation.
Other than the tapping noise in my wall it was quiet in the hotel. I also brought my loud air purifier with me but that didn’t cover the tapping noise.
