Our group included three girls meeting in Santa Fe from three different cities to celebrate our mutual birthdays. We definitely wanted something that was unique and reflected the Santa Fe architecture. This place delivered.!!!!
The location was fantastic. We had hoped to do quite a bit of hiking and there were plenty of trails near us. However, Santa Fe had a freak snow storm during our stay that delivered about 14 inches of snow.! The homeowner herself, was out shoveling our place along with a caretaker who was using a snowblower. It was great to meet Noel, who is an artist and did most of the artwork in the house. Because we were so close to the plaza and Canyon Road we were able to walk to many places and didn’t have to get our vehicles out in the snow. The house provided so many helpful tools to help us enjoy our stay. There were many maps and Noel had put together a binder of things to do and places to eat. Because of the snow, we lost our cable and Internet, but there were plenty of games to keep us entertained. We had a nice fire in the fireplace also. It is great that the host offers optional sleeping arrangements in the two bedrooms….. either two kings or four twins. It makes it much more flexible for singles. Because of the snow, and temperature, we did not get to use the
outdoor patio at all. I’m sure it would be lovely in the milder months. Everything was fantastic except for a few ants in the kitchen, which Noel said she would address.
