Welcome to “Land of Encampment”, a fun indoor glamping haven just half a block from Meow Wolf's House of Eternal Return! Stay in a beautifully restored Airstream Safari Camper with a cozy double bed + a spacious canvas glamping tent in the loft with a queen-size bed. There’s also a comfy daybed in the living room.

Great location to Meow Wolf

Took my son and his friend to Meow Wolf for his birthday. This place is about a half block from it. Such a fun space to go with the weirdness of Meow Wolf.

Dark Encampment

Cute place but very dim inside. Need to buy insurance in order to stay here as everything is so fragile. Would not recommend for family with small children as too many rules and stairs are steep and slippery. Shower cute but not feel safe and no vanity in restroom. Definitely feels more like you’re roughing it rather than staying in a VRBO. Says pet friendly and did not mention about a fee before hand but got a request after checking in for a 50 pet fee.

It’s really hard to leave a review for a place we spent 45 minutes at and booked a hotel instead of staying there. There is a dispensary next door which was causing problems for one person in our group that has asthma. We spent 30 minutes looking for light switches, the bed in the camper is not fit for 2 adults even if it was they would wake up with back problems. The description doesn’t mention that and you don’t find out until after the cancellation period. In our quest for light switches you see a fire hazard where several extension cords go back to 1 outlet. The shower is in the center of the room so anyone going upstairs gets a full view. I messaged the host of problems and have never heard a response. I loved the idea especially since it is right across from meow wolf but it was the first time I didn’t stay at the location and really disappointed the host failed to respond. The only reason the rating is more than a 1 is because it was very easy to book, check in and it was clean for a campsite vibe.
