The Space: This space is thoughtfully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is a large living room with a view to the beach. The kitchen is fully equipped. A private bedroom with new furnishings, and a full bathroom. There is a front deck area space to relax in the sun!
Guest Access: There is a separate front entrance.
The Neighborhood: Twin Lakes Beach and the harbor are favorites of both locals and tourists. The house itself is on the first block from Twin Lakes beach which has a long, wide strip of sand from the harbor jetty to Blacks Beach. Restaurants like the Crow's Nest and Cafe El Palomar or Johnny's Harborside are a short walk. The Santa Cruz Small Crafts Harbor is adjacent to these fine nice restaurants.
Getting Around: Many attractions are within walking distance including the harbor, restaurants, and great beaches. Biking and hiking are also great way to explore Santa Cruz. The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is a 20 minute walk, 10 minute bike ride, or 5 minute drive.
Other Things to Note: This unit is the second floor of a home above a private garage. The lower floor is occupied. With one bedroom, it is equipped for a cozy stay for one or two people. Our guests are steps away from one of the more popular beaches in town so the area can be lively during summer days but generally stays quiet at night. There is a washer and dryer on site. There is only one reserved parking spot and although street parking is usually available, street parking can be a challenge to find during the busiest times. No pets and no smoking at this property. We are required to stick to our cancellation policy and we suggest adding trip insurance for any last minute issues that may impact your travel.
